Acer laptop screen

Good Evening,

I was wondering if some kind soul can help me out, I have an Acer laptop and today the screen has started acting up - when I turn on the laptop the screen is fine but then within in 2 minutes the screen has gone dark and you can barely see anything.

Does anybody have any idea how to fix this?

mine did---- its a fault in vista

if screen drivers are not installed it still wont make the screen go dark

they are installed---honestly--its a flow in the drive---better off downloading another

Hi Hamilton - I am really struggling trying to find a driver for my screen, it is an Acer Aspire 5920 - can you provide a link please - I can find drivers but nothing specifally for a monitor/screen.

Also, I have 13 updates waiting but they keep failing - any ideas?

Well laptop is sorted thanks to a colleague at work - it was a dodgy connection in the monitor - nothing to do with the drivers - thanks for all the suggestions.

I will be back next time I need help - cheers
