A workman as just sealed the block paving on a drive across from me, I asked him what he was using as I wanted mine done but he would not tell me, he said he would do mine for £75 and it was special fluid he put's on to make the sand go hard inbetween the bricks.
He took 10 min's to do it with a watercan, the fluid came out of a white plastic container and was mixed with water, it looked like milk when he poured it out, if anyone know's what it was please help me save a lot of money.

Probably Thomsons Patio Sealer.
He's coy because it's a bit of a rip-off and a lucrative business : )

Well .. I'm a ruddy good builder .. and an aircraft tech.
So I know what's out there.
Depending on what type of block paving it is .. sealing it may well be a waste of time.
Sealing will last between 1-2 years. I wouldnt of thought using a watering can would give a good enough coating as its normaly applied with a roller or a spray.

Thanks guy's, I was really after the name of the white stuff he put down, I will have a look at Albags thomsons patio sealer.
I would rather see block paving age naturally - dont like the proprietory shiny sealers...........which isnt what appears to have been used over the road to 'jrtv', dont like the sound of that at all!! Sounds like PVA to me at the cost of all of £5.00!
If you must use a sealer only use on new paving or have it pressure washed and re-sanded first.
