Can anyone help, I have an old copy of Rainbow Quiz called "Down on the farm" an am stuck on the last 4
The fruit of the vineyard, it's said,could produce an uplift ( 5 letters)
Accompanied by a designer, could be fashionable (7)
Morse talked of these dull people who appeared before royalty (8)
The first drink ,we hear,can be very painful(9)

Fruit of the Vineyard - "it's said" means "sound like" - fruit of the vine gives a simple word. Check Chambers and there is a word that sounds the same meaning a four-pronged fork used on the farm.
Accompanied bu a Designer - a word to go with, or more specifically after, the word designer and you have a facial feature that some people think fashionable. Think George Michael.
Morse talked of these dull people - one meaning of the word morse is a sea creature who appeared with a tradesman in a Lewis Carroll poem and spoke about the answer and kings.
The first drink - refers to the first milk from a cow after calving. Alternative spelling would be painful if this insect attacked you.
