As far as Rebbekah Brookes goes, she either knew of the behaviour of her staff (in which case she was complicit) or she did not (in which case she was inept). Either way she should do the decent thing. But she will not.
It will be very interesting to see if there are any repercussions surrounding the Tommy Sheridan affair. The outcome may have been very different if what we know now about the NoTW was known before Sheridan’s trial.
