Trying to source one of these and it might help if I know what they are commonly called in the UK.

The reason I want this is our flat has a really heavy door, and closes metal to metal with a incredibly loud slam. I've tried using foam to dampen the impace but it still sounds like a safe door closing, especially late at night.
The twin advantages of this device (which I've seen many of in the UK but not so much of here in Spain) is that it a) makes sure the door closes, and quietly, and b) means the door can no longer be slammed shut, even on purpose.
We don't have the other ordinary large latch door closer from the pic, so this would be the only device on our door.....it's just the only one I've seen recently so I took a snap of it.
Thanks all.
