Cooker and hobb wiring
2 Answers
My cooker recently went wrong and there was a smell of burning, so I turned it off on the red cooker switch on the wall. I was surprised to find that my halogen hob is always wired to the same switch. I had the kitchen installed 6 years ago so I rang the kitchen company and they assured me that this is legal. Seems odd to me that you can connect to appliances to one switch, now every time I want to use the hob I have to turn the switch on and then off when finished. Anyone know if this is right.
Thanks.
Thanks.
