i found the content of the show this morning highly inapproriate. My radio comes on every morning with the alarm, and the kitchen radio is tuned to radio 2 also. My children get up and dressed, have their breakfast in the kitchen while i have a shower, make the beds etc. A normal morning for families with school children I would imagine. Today I came into the kitchen to see my children gripped with fear listening to tales of 'definite' sightings of ghosts and spirits. I am appalled. Surely it should be safe to leave a bbc radio station on between 7 and 8 in a morning, without fear of the content terrifying my kids?? I know that my little girl will have difficulty sleeping tonight and will probably be in tears. Richard madeley and his producers are insensitve and thoughtless. disgusting.

I don't mind listening to him and have the radio on in the van but mainly for the music and the news. I'm with Annie as I also have CD's but thats for when Vanessa is on. I just cannot listen to her with that sooooo affected voice.

I agree with everything you say LoftyLottie. I like him, he's a good family man and crisgal - get a grip, why on earth should RM and his producers be censored just because your kids are so mollycoddled that everything has to revolve around them??? Plenty of people probably enjoyed that show.
