Radio 2 v Radio 4EX

Does anyone else find Jeremy Vine a little patronising? Also known in our house as Jeremy Whine, the alternative at 12 on Friday on Radio 4EX is the Navy Lark and much more fun.

On occasion he will match a song he plays to the input he has just received, it is done with subtlty, no reference is made to it.
When he took over from Jimmy Young, Young refused to even speak to him, a discourtesy Vine handled with charm and professionalism.
So, that's my take, but i appreciate that tastes vary - I believe that people whose opinions on most things i value, are known to believe that Chris Tarrant is actually worth radio airtime.
