During the week I was asking people not to buy the news of the world and the Sun, most people agreed, but when I suggested that they should also consider cancelling their Sky TV subscription I was lucky to esape with my life.
am I being unreasonable or not ??

but if cancelling Sky HD means I will no longer get FXHD and miss Dexter ...sorry but Murdoch could eat babies as far as I'm concerned and I will still watch SKY.
You should check out what Mr Murdoch does own...
I figure that a boycott of Murdoch products will hurt Murdoch ...just a little bit ...but the man is 80 years old ...so I guess he ain't too fussed about money anymore. However those in the UK who work for SKY etc , will suffer.

I think Murdoch owns less than half of Sky at the moment, hence the plan to buy the rest, which I hope will be sabotaged by all the stories coming out proving that he isn't fit to own it. So if you only watch half of Sky's output you should be okay.
