National Express is really the only option as you'll need to go into London (Victoria) and change for the Margate Coach.

They often have cheap rates and funfares as they call them, when you book in advance and online. Try here.

I forgot to say - its always worth checking the price of single tickets too. Sometime they are cheaper than returns but you will need to book a specific time to travel (and have plenty of patience when it comes to booking them for each of you)!
