I want my money back!
13 Answers
A dozen of us meet to play sport on a Wednesday night & then go for a drink. Six weeks ago one of the guys forgot his wallet so I lent him £20. Every week he has a different excuse as to why he hasn't returned my money. Everyone thinks he is taking the P out of me. It's not as if he can't afford it. I was planning on calling into the hotel where he works and and leaving a message for him with his manager - hoping it will embarrass him into paying. Any thoughts?

Too soft to say no, but have now come to a decision - if anyone else wants to borrow I shall tell them I have no money and stick to it. If I had all the money people owe me I would be able to live for a couple of weeks without drawing on my pension. You tend to judge people by your own standards and they are just not as honourable as you are.
