Sunsets

There is a lovely sunset this evening (over Heathrow which is where my window faces). All pink and grey/mauve cloud streaks. I love sunsets. I just keep looking, and a few minutes later looking again etc as they change continuously. Any others out there addicted to sunsets.

you must be ooop north then? It is nearly dark enough now that I can go out in my dressing gown and put out the recycling!

Pht - wouldn't bother most of my neighbours. They're the sort that go to the shops in their jammies :) I'm further up than oop north though - Scotchland ;)

Karen, as I child I lived briefly near Castle Douglas. It has sunsets to die for!

Prefer sunrise but we live on the east coast. We love the great red ball that peeps over the horizon on a clear morning- before we go back to sleep.

I like Castle Douglas - but it has the weirdest set up of shops. They are all 2 in one but strange combinations like lawyer and dry cleaner, estate agent and cobbler, fishing tackle and hairdresser type things :)

I never think of seeing the sunrise seadogg, as you cant see them from our house at all. Glad to hear you appreciate the sky too.

I cant remember shops Karen. I only recall being at school with a clan of McConchies and the great scenery from our cottage overlooking the sea!

I know what you mean about the shops karenmac - when we lived in the islands we'd go to the post office for anything from butter to toothpaste
