Corrie actress.

Excuse me if this seems a trivial observation but I have noticed that a lot of established regulars on this site watch television, as I do myself from time to time.
I have just watched last Sunday's episode of The Royal which I recorded. I recognised Prunella Scales at once, but there was another face which seemed so familiar but I couldn't put a name to. After half an hour I thought, "She's in Coronation Street", but looks so much younger. I then thought I must be wrong because as I understand it actors who sign up for Coronation Street can't perform elsewhere for the duration of their contract. I wasn't convinced, and after a little Googling discovered that the actress in question is the one who plays Kylie, Becky's sister. This confused me even further until I learned that the series of The Royal now being shown was recorded two years ago, before she joined the cast. Thinking back, the first episode featured an appearance by Ian Carmichael, over a year after he had died. TV is strange at times!

Inbetween feeding times if I'd got everything ready for the next 'feed' and had enough stuff to keep the technical guys ticking over, I used to nip out of the truck and watch filming - you'd be surprised how many times I watched a programme that I'd done the catering for 18 months to two years previously!
