It's human nature to shun any further bad things happening after having been through a tough time but due to circumstantial changes, being intoxicated as mentioned above and us forgetting and letting our guard down we sometimes leave ourselves open to the cycle of bad things happening and in others something bad happening are completely out of our control so to say "Never again" is a way of mentally preparing ourselves never to put ourselves in the same situation or to try and change the outcome.

Too True, How Often

How often we don't realise
What we have in AB until it is gone
How often we wait too late to say
"I'm sorry - I was wrong."

Sometimes it we are suspended
No access to that close to our hearts
No cussing available at AOG and things
And hence our AB lives rendered apart.

Far too many times we let
Unimportant trivia into our minds
And then it's usually too late
To see what made us drunk or blind.

So be sure that you let people know
How much they mean to you
Even if they are half stupid
Take that time to say the words
Before your time is through.

Be sure that you appreciate
Everything you've got
And be thankful we have Mrs O for the little things
in life that mean and say a lot.
