i have 2 bulging discs at the bottem of my back was diagnosed in jan ,i cannot have an operation so am having physio and am back to work after being off for 4 months .I used to walk about 1 and a half hours 2 - 3 times a week and my legs got quite toned ,

i cannot do this now but really want to get some of the weight off and get my legs toned again ,can you let me know any ideas cheers rachel

Hiya, having had 3 back ops myself on discs and now have steel rods in spine, I too have put on weight due to all the tablets I am on and some days pain makes me immobile! I think swimming is one of the best options and less painful! I now walk with a stick but still do gentle walking when I can. Good luck with everything x
