Stuck with 10d One of the five Philistine cities of southwest Canaan said to have been founded c 1200 BC that is mentioned in the Book of Joshua (5). I have E-R-N. My Bible has reference to HEBRON so could the answer be EBRON ? Help appreciated.

I think it is Ekron

Ekron was the northernmost of the five Philistine city-states, an economic and political alliance referred to as the Philistine pentapolis. The other pentapolis city-states: Ashdod, Ashkelon, Gaza, and Gath.

I've now checked the book of Joshua, and shaneystar (not surprisingly) is absolutely correct.
