Hi Lofty & Other Soya Milk Drinkers!

I saw Lofty talking about soya milk on another thread. Like her, I also don't like cows milk and have teeny bit in normal tea but none in coffee and obviously never drink it. However, I do like the idea of eating a cerial in the morning. I have tried the pouring yougurts on cerial and they just don't seem to have the correct consistency, and taste a bit odd so I'm not a big fan of them. What's this soya milk like? Does it taste like normal milk? Is there anything you can think of that it tastes similar to so I might get an idea?

Cheers :c)

Be aware that on some thyroid medications you cannot take anything soya for 3 hrs after taking a tablet!
Lots of good advice from LL. I discovered I was intolerant to lactose 5 years ago, gave up putting it in tea and soon began to appreciate the real flavours of teas which had been masked by milk. I now have an array of wonderful teas from around the world,- something for every mood. The tea bag in a mug with a slosh of cow milk seems so Philistine to me now. Tea is one of the finer things in life.
Exactly Khandro.

I find tea with milk absolutely revolting anyway. Greasy tea, yuk. A British thing generally.
