sorry TWR i disagree, you gave people some extremely nasty comments on your post about petrol protests, plus calling people who responded to you on this post "simple minded" seems rude to me too. You clearly don't see these as rude though, as you state you NEVER do it. Have you ever considered that jack the hat dosen't consider her comments rude either, in the same way you don't consider your comments nasty?

Truce, end of this Qs for me.
Well I admit it - I am simple minded!! Actually the people that responded made it very clear that a knife ban would not work and that there is an age limit already in force.

We might have made our point in a jokey way - but this is chatterbank afterall.
bloody well said lottie :)
i seem to recall you calling AB'ers "spineless lazy people who couldn't give a toss"

Just a point on what you have just said Bedknobs, what i referred to was the fuel protest & the British public excepting whatever price that was thrown at them, that meaning the increasing price of fuel, in other words they have not got the spine to stick out to get the price lowered, I also referred how the French handled the way their Government backed down regards the French peoples pension.
Do you mean "accepting"?
