Capital letters after a colon?

Obviously, if someone's name, country, city, etc comes up, you capitalise it. I've seen some people use capital letters after a colon, and some with not.

So, when the use a capitalise a word after a colon, and when do you not?

This type of question, jno, has been raised by LL a number of times - I have no issue with the initial question but when the convolution starts.....

Look at his sub point on raising the issue about quotation marks, that is the third time, I believe.

If he thinks that I am being abusive, then let him report me and all I suggest is that the Ed/Mod looks at the track record carefully.

It is normal need capital, especially used in the title

Whilst I wish my primary school had managed to teach me grammar better than they did, I can say I've never noticed capitalization consistently used after a colon. Except if the following word required it. One capitalises at the start of a sentence, and that requires a full stop.
