Police knocking on the door again about the blinking parking - why can't the people who live around you just knock the door if they have got an issue? Aaarrgghh - waste of everyone's time because they are too chicken sh!te to knock the door. Rant over.

just let their tyres down.....
.. of the police car?
nick the blue light!
Well it's better to rant here than at the coppers, Sherrardk. It would be awkward explaining to the kids that their holiday was cancelled because Mummy had to appear in court!

The neighbours' or the polices'? They said to park outside next doors house but that would mean the parking Nazi would be round and he is more of nuisance than the police (he only knocks the door when he knows my husband is out).
no do the Dukes of Hazard thing with them; chain wrapped around a tree and the other end hooked around their back axle.
Some folks are obsessed with parking their car right outside their front door!
Welcome to my world Sherrard. If we tell the teenager off, the fuzz rock up. We (and us) are getting a bit sick of it.

The police thought it was a waste of time and were really nice. Bloke across the road is having his front done so there is some sand half-on and half-off the pavement. There are only five houses past the sand (it's a cul-de-sac) so they are hardly having to walk down the middle of a major road to get round it. Some people want to get a life.
you could start up your own wheel clamping company!
someone I know managed to nick a police car.

Came out of the pub (in Kent) blitzed.

Got into his car, a white Ford Taurus, and drove home.

Got to bed and 2 and a 1/2 hours later, bang, bang on his front door.

Poliz standing there, "What have you done with our car?"

"What are you talking about?"

Long and short of it, he opens his garage door to find a Kent Police Ford Taurus in there.....

He had stumbled out of the pub, so blitzed and, despite all the extra equipment, had driven it home. Their mistake was leaving the car open.

No prosecution as (i) he had been home for such a long time and (ii) the embarrassment to the Fuzz........
Thick cow that I am, I meant "we and them".....

Nah Barmaid, you're not thick, you've just got a rubbish key board (well that s my excuse when I make mistakes).
You haven't said what was wrong exactly sher. Unless you have parked across someone's driveway I can't see what the problem is. I was under the impression that (with certain exceptions like double yellow lines) as long as you have paid your road tax you could park where you like. People don't own the bit of road outside their homes do they?
