Another Question for Sqad or anybody with medical training

I have known a chap since he was 17 (he is now mid forties). He was OK ish in his teens but seemed to have a few problems with coordination. Over the years his eyesight has deteriorated and his physical coordination has got worse and worse and his voice has become extremely high pitched and slow. I have now come across someone else with similar problems. Is this some sort of recognised syndrome?
I met the first chap yesterday and he has deteriorated rapidly since I last spoke to him a few months ago.

To cut a long story short my doctor sent me for an MRI scan, and a growth in my brain was discovered which they suspect is causing these problems. Had I not bugged my doctor I'd have never have known.

My only qualification is in Hypochondria but the symptoms could be so many conditions.

I hope that gentleman in question has gone to see his doctor - but being male it is possible that he hasn't.

Sqad and others. This person is not a close friend or anything, just someone I have known since he was a kid. I am sure he and his family have seen all the right people and know what is wrong. I was just being curious about the high voiced thing as someone else I see from time to time also has it.
I have known quite a few friends with MS and other neurological illnesses, but none of them have developed voice problems. They have speech problems but not this high pitched very squeaky voice.
Thanks for your answers.

Thank you Sqad. I became more curious when I came across a chap with a similar problem who is employed locally. (On a scheme to employ disabled workers)
Whatever it is the eyesight must be affected, or there must be an aversion to sunlight. Both wear very dark glasses like goggles that stop any light getting into their eyes.
