Our dog group is having an international 'walk' all at the same time and we need to put a map on our website to plot the walks. In idiotspeak how easy would it be for me to do - I have no technical knowledge whatsoever, so if its a non starter please let me down gently! Is there a site that I could use to do it or to show me how?

Lankeela, can you find a suitable map on another website? If so you could highlight and copy that web address, then post the link to it on your on walks website. People can then open the link and print off a copy for themselves if they want to. Is that what you are looking for?
I have just made a map of Cornwall - with dovecotes in the county.

I took the reference sites, google mapped them and transposed the location onto my map in Powerpoint. At the end of the day, (awful expression), a map is just a pictoral location.

If you are doing a walk, you could locate the major points and then put lines between them...?

Thanks box, but we need a map on the site to show people which countries there have been walks in rather than one to print off. DT, that sounds the sort of thing but that is way beyond my capabilities. You lost me at 'I took the reference sites' and it was all downhill from there!
