Why is the fuel and filter black in the fuel filter chamber. Is it oil getting in, if so from where. Changed the filter 3 days ago and black again already ??

bit odd really, the fuel filter is the tank side (supply) so there isnt in theory any connection to engine oil...fuel goes from the tank straight to the filter...contaminated fuel ???

Are you not getting confused with the colour been blue? some fuel filters are black in the inner side of the filter.
