Okay will try and explain, my sons laptop which Iam admin, has wiped everything on his account off,photos etc internet history the works, computer is saying we are running very low on disc space, think he may have done something? Would taking it back in time sort things out? if so how do I do that again? also it wont let me load onto my account, saying not enough space to load profile, or words to that effect.
Anyhelp would be much appreciated.

Forgot to add, tried to run avg which was already installed, but that wont even work? maybe a virus? cant remove any programme either! what going on with this laptop! ggrrrr

Its a dell inspiron 1300

You could try a Disc defragmenter by clicking >Start-All Progs- Accessories- System Tools-scroll down to-Disc Defrag then follow instructions.

you could also download cc cleaner which gets rid of cookies and will free up some space.
