Haven't heard any, have you tried googling for ideas?
someone posted a link a few weeks ago for speeches to do with step-dad/father-of-the-bride/best man I think it was etiher Andy or Chris. Will see what I can find.

I have googled but alot of speeches you have to pay for. My man is so shy I think he will bottle it anyway

google best man speech, the second one down might be better that the one I've posted. (which is never a link, can't do technology :) )
As he is the best man he must be a good friend/relative and obviously highly loved/respected by the groom to be. He could write down all the memorable moment that they spent together, all the ups and downs during their frienship, all the mischief they got up to etc etc. Then pick out the good bits, funny bits (leave out the naughty bits). All the best mans speeches that I have ever heard are along these lines and seem to go down very well.

they are more private jokes that if said only 2 out of the room would actually understand.
Good luck to him, I was more nervous about standing up doing a speech at my wedding than I was about getting married.

When my best man and father in law were doing their speeches I was sitting there thinking "Sh!t, I`m up next".
