im asking this for friend, she had her last period 8 weeks ago, slept with someone 4 weeks ago and then 2 weeks ago (same guy) she normally has her period about 4/5 weeks in between.
anyway she hasnt come on, she is now 3 weeks late. she did a test last week and the week before but they were both negative. do you think it was to early to do the test and how much longer do she need to leave it to do it again?
she keeps askin me all these questions and to be honest i dont know what to say to her, dont think she wants anymore children but i think should must be

Not all home pregnancy tests are accurate... There are people who have had pregnancy tests and had them be negative, and still were pregnant. The most accurate way to detect pregnancy is to go to a doctor. After having sex the typical test cannot detect pregnancy until around 4-6 weeks after the missed period. The most risky point during ovulation to have sex is around the 14th day. Who knows? She could've gotten pregnant the second time she did it... In that case the test she took was taken too soon..
