Runtime Error

My husband and son both share a computer. They have Windows XP.

The problem being that on my husbands screen at Start-up, he gets a Runtime Error message with the following:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library.

"Requested Runtime to terminate in unusual way"

My son doesn't get this problem on his screen.

Does anyone have any idea what this means and how to stop it coming up everytime he starts the computer?
