Ipod Touch - smashed Screen

My 11yr old has smashed his ipod touch screen, is there somewhere other than apple store that i can take it to get the screen repaired. Apple are so expensive (so ive been told!). How much should i expect to pay? Im in Glasgow.

I used Freecorder to copy a piece of music from You tube...

My son has repaired one for his daughter. Says it is a bit fiddly, but do-able if you take your time, and a bit of patience!!!
