You get free dental work if you are pregnant? I did not know that. Is that the same if you are out of work and claiming benefits as well?
Yes. People claiming JSA can get free dental treatment.
I had a root canal last year and it was horrible, no pain but an hour and a half of sitting there in the chair with what felt like a trampoline clamped across my mouth, the worst part is trying to swallow when you are lying back in the chair with all sorts of gadgets in your mouth!

Another thing I hate at the dentist is when they take an impression of your teeth with the gumsheild filled with plasticine and bits are falling down your throat, makes me gag just typing it...yuk
A filling is pretty much nothing on the pain register. A root canal, particularly on a back tooth, is hellish because of how long you have to keep your mouth wide open and the ache for a few days after. But the amount of blood and lengthy healing time for an extraction makes it the worst for me (plus the noise when the back ones come out is horrible)
