I enjoy seeing a "wall of books" and wonder if in the future books will become part of the décor, something to look at but not there to be read. It happens at the moment with LP's, they are still on display but not played.
Hi
I think e readers are the way to go now. Book stores are feeling the impact of technology. I can see even charity shops turning books away 'eventually' I'm contemplating buying a kindle myself, may be for Christmas. Books are lovely .. but I only have so much room to put them! My mum is already coverted & has her own kindle. Mum has walking difficulties, so saves her going to the library. Not only can you 'buy' titles on kindle .. there are literally thousands off Classics available to download absolutely free!!
