I have had 2 carrier bags from one single shop, that have been stored with stuff in for well over a year.... both just disintegrated...turned into confetti - they are brittle and just crumble

is this a special, feature ? does this mean they will biodegrade?

thanks

these are lloyds chemist ones, seems a few others do it too...perhaps these are th eones with tapioca in...
I think you're right, this because they're making them biodegradable now?
Hey Joko

Co-op carrier bags are biodegradable now. They have a shelf life of 3 years and start to disintigrate after 18 months of them being made.

I assume alot of other companies are using the same kind of bags.
i think the condoms will be past their use by date too
Well they will be if they're in your wallet yes No Know ;-)
^^^ hee hee
You can get bio-degradable storage bags also, they have a 'life' of 6 months. That reminds me...I need to check my freezer...lol

Hopefully yes! Bio degradable bags are the future! They will help reduce landfill as the waste that is trapped inside the bags will be open to the elements and will be able to bio degrade. You can get a wide range of fully bio degradable bin bags, wheelie bin bags and compost bags from http://www.wikanikogroup.co.uk
