Puddings

Some rather heavy entries this afternoon, so here goes with my fantasy. Stuff low-calorie yoghurts; I fancy a REAL pudding. Spotted Dick, perhaps, or Jam Roly Poly with lashings of custard. Trouble is I live on my own and no longer keep the ingredients to make them.

No, no no Sandy! Yuk! Yes, yes, yes JMR and I can almost feel those aggravating little blackberry pips getting stuck in my teeth.

gooseberry pie and creamy custard is first on my list followed by tirimasu [sorry cant spell it] and profiteroles.
I once had profitoles in a restaurant in Caiscais Portugal that were out of this world, home made creme de menthe icecream inside the pastry and I was given a small jug of hot dark chocolate sauce to pour over myself,heaven to taste, on our last night there Mr S said he woud take me back abnd I said no because if they werent as good the second time around it would spoil my fantasy so we didnt go !

Treat yourself to a nice fresh cream merangue. They great happy food and less calories than you think!

You are even named after a pudding charlotte! Why not buy a sponge pudding in a tin e.g. Heinz do one.

I could go for something lemony - like lemon meringue pie or a drizzle cake; or I could make muffins with lemon curd inside.

Then I could eat all that while waiting for my rhubarb crumble with custard and vanilla ice cream..

Trish has just taken an apple pie out of the oven when it's cooled Trish will have hers with cream while I have mine with a lump of Wensleydale
