Minesweeper

I really love playing minesweeper, but is there a tactic to win on expert without guessing? Am i missing something?

I think unless you hit lucky and pick a square that clears a huge area, you do have to do some random clicking to finish the level. I normally click a few squares on far sides of the grid to get a few clearings, rather than wasting time on one clearing, running out of moves and randomly clicking on a mine!
