kids programme name

does any1 remember the name of a programme from the 70s where a pencil drew letters across the screen...think it also had a crystal type box on a red velvet cushion at the very begining of the programme....heeelp is driving me mad!!!

I tihnk it may have been 'Picture Box' - it was a schools TV programme. If the music sounded like a fairground ride while the box turned round and round (if you remember that at all) I'd be pretty certain...
