So, Smoke the Mog won't let me comb him. I've tried a furminator, comb, rake, you name it he just gets up & walks away. But he's now developed a new habit. He sits outside on the decking demanding that I join him. When I do he puts his head down, hes backside up & does a forward roll, flopping on to one side & then has me ruffle my hand through his furHe then repeats this onto the other side so we go around the deck in circles. Yesterday we had half an hour of roll, flop & ruffle. It certainly gets rid of the loose fur. God knows what the neighbours think when they see this going on.
don't worry i was outside talking to next doors cat for about 20 minutes , when i looked up to my left there was a workman with a very puzzled look on his face
Cats do talk back - we just aren't intelligent enough to understand them.
I have problems grooming Merlin, she is long haired and hates being groomed. When I am using the PC she gets up between me and the keyboard and I just groom the bits that I can reach without teeth puncturing my arm or hand.
Frankie is a pervert and loves being groomed and massaged - but having short hair it isn't so important that I groom him so often.
Wolf, Smoke definitely talks to me & you're right I don't always get it. As for the grooming, there are no fangs involved, he just gets up & strolls away but now he's got the roll, flop ruffle thing going on it's a minimum of 20 mins everyday.
murphy hates being brushed but i always give her treats afterwards, she now gets her brush and brings it to me. doesn;t stop her yelling her head off whilst she's being brushed (or trying to bite me)
