Has anyone else ordered a camera from the Daily Express offer, 5/12/09 and not received it. When you telephone the Daily Express as soon as you say 'camera promotion' you are put through to an automated message and they never return the call. On one of the calls a 'human voice' answered 'Ash Patel' and then when I said why I was calling he immediately switched to the automated message. The company which was doing this promotion is Expressive Media and despite e-mailing them they do not reply.
I have since done some research on the internet and it seems that this company has a very poor record of service and has even had an advertising Standards Authority adjudication against them. They are still offering 'free stuff' on the internet so beware.

If that's the relevant company, you should send a written demand for a refund of your payment. The letter must be addressed 'To the Company Secretary' and clearly show both your own name and address and that of the company. It must also include the date and a statement that, if payment is not received within a stipulated period of time (I suggest 21 days), you will commence legal proceedings. You should send the letter by recorded delivery, retaining a copy for your records.

If you don't get your money back (or receive the camera, if that's still acceptable to you), commence legal proceedings. The easiest way to do so is to use HM Courts' Service's online system:

Yes I ordered a Video Camera through the news of the world plus a JLS USB Card and Poster which I have never received when I contacted the sun they said I need to raised a payment dispute with my bank, do the papers not check into these companies before offering these products to customers imagine how much money these people are receiving from us all.
Yes I ordered the Video Camera, JLS USB Card and Poster from the News of the World and have not received them yet. I have contacted the sun and they have suggested I go to my bank and raise a payment dispute, but before I do this I may try and write to Expansive Media and see if I get anywhere with them.
