So tonight at 7pm is the day we are supposed to feel most content because of the high temperatures, school holidays and prospect of a summer break....so what makes you happy, even the little things? Or what was the last thing to put a smile on your face?

Not having to go to work today
OH coming home after a long trip

delighting in the little things in life

An Email, just now, from an old friend, (she had not been in touch for ages).... started off with "now, what was I saying?" followed by a smiley face......=)

I'm smiling today as I know my two grandaughters will be round after being on their hols for two weeks.
What makes me really happy & contented is knowing all the bills are paid and I don't owe a dam thing to anyone. Ahhh!!

My dog looking at me with his gorgeous face and wagging his tail makes me happy. A phone conversation with my beloved Mum. A girly lunch with my best friend. Rain beating down on the windows when it's warm and cosy inside. Christmas day and my Dad's sausage and mash !
