What is your weather like right now??

Here in North Devon, we have just gone from a fairly sunny, but cloudy day to a proper hailstorm, with subseqent flooding on some of our roads! So, how is your summer going? Is it just us here, or are you experiencing strange weather patterns as well?

I put on TWR's thread earlier that there was a Weather warning for this area today (Stockton-on-Tees). There's a lot of dark clouds in the sky but I think it's been dry all day. Biblical rain and thunderstorm yesterday though.

giveup, I have given up on watering my garden today too, as the hail has already done a fair bit of damage to my petunias, which now look battered and bruised, grrrr! Ah well, more dead heading to do tomorrow then, lol.

Hi Carakeel.....You may already know that I live on the Gower peninsular. Well the forecast for today was sunshine and showers. The sunshine hasn't been enough to warm a Bee's bum and the showers have been torrential.

I was going to pass forward this information earlier but then it started to thunder. So, having lost two computers in July 2009 when lightening struck my house, (despite the comps having been power circuitry protected) an hour ago I pulled out all plugs and only now that the storm has passed am I resuming Internet activities.

Actually I don't mind wet weather, it means I don''t have to be bothered with the drudgery of keeping a relatively large garden tidy

In Leicestershire we had some absolute torrential downpours around 5 - 6pm with thunder too for ages! What an awful Summer!!!! Will get worse though, as we are going to the East Coast for a week next Sunday in our caravan and we have hardly ever had a decent holiday in it - we nickname it "The Rainmaker!"
