Why are there no hurricane names beginning Q,U,X,Y or Z?

You will notice that for Eastern North Pacific Names they do not use Q and U only.

Z " " Zelda & Zeke

Hi Pangolin, there is hurricanes starting with those letters. Every hurricane is named, but we don't hear about those ones on the news because they are mostly storms out at sea, so even F1 storm will get named, but as soon as it hits land and is classed as a threat, that's when we get to hear about it - we just didn't hear about the other ones in the interim :)
