Doggie is sitting on window ledge beside me as I type and in recent times am away of his doggy breath which is not pleasant. I do clean his teeth about 3-4 times a week any tips - thank you.

Diet?
Question Author
his diet one meal of wet and dried food with peeled carrots
One meal a day?
At one time you could buy charcoal biscuits to cure dogs breath. I don't know if you can still get them.

yes I used to put one at 2 pm and one at 6pm - the 6pm never got ate.
What breed of dog and how old?

Is he being exercised enough? The dogs I've had would never wait until 2pm for food.

to be honest - he doesn't like doggy biscuits - no longer likes treats - have bought those denture sticks - doesn't like them either. Just will keep his teeth cleaned. Thanks for your answers.
Get him checked by the vet as it could be a sign of kidney problems.
He might need a teeth check, but I've found that my dogs are partial to a peppermint occasionally - don't know if this is good for them or not, but it does help their dog breath!
I would get him checked at the vet, mine do a free dental check up. He could have
gum disease despite you cleaning his teeth or some sort of internal problem that is causing the odour. Does he chew his food or bolt it down? I would be wondering if maybe he has some sort of problem in his mouth being that he does not want chews or the like.
You could try this product when you have ruled out health problems.

We had some regular character on A & N a while ago who actually 'captured' his dog's bad breath in a bottle and put it on Ebay. Not sure how much it went for but he did get some bids.
Puppy breath would fetch a fortune if you could bottle it.
