What is the most crptic, mysterious or obscure piece of graffiti you have come across? I was on a train and written across the tray in the back of the seat in front of me was the phrase "Naziol Is Coming". I've searched for the meaning of the word but with no success. Perhaps you've encountered something similar?

Googling throws up "naziol" as a Polish word and/or a name.

Perhaps in the case of this graffitti it's a name.

I used to commute from south London into town and on a building site at London Bridge there was a scrawl on the wall saying "Big Dave's gussett".  Never did find out what it meant.  Believe it can still be seen.

Howabout ... "If it wasn't for custard, hedgehogs wouldn't fly helicopters"?

Never worked out what it meant!

Oh, and saw a lovely one on holiday in wales.... someone had painted "Jesus saves" on the wall.

And someone else had added "Green Shield Stamps".

On a tube train in London: 'Kill the humans'.

"I LOVE YOU SEX DWARF".

In Stockton, under the blue bridge.

Funniest, "SKINHADS"[sic] also in stockton.

For sheer pointlessness, there used to be until about 2 years ago,on an 8 foot high wall in Telford, a huge picture of a mouth with people`s names written in the teeth. It was there for a good few years as I went past it to school. Over time people coloured in the teeth to leave gaps, and drew a joint. Sadly the wall was demolished!

There is a large housing estate quite close to where I live called ******* Farm, and as a teenager I remember walking though an underpass in nearby Waterlooville which bore the legend "******* Sucks!"

Then there is  "Bicth" a heartfelt attempt at graffiti on the fishmarket wall, as seen from a friends kitchen window
Also as seen on a pillar box near a friends son's (primary) school:
KELLY IS A PROSTATE
And the there was a lettered sign on local grocery window:
WE HAVE CRABS.
But one of my personal favourites was on sequential bridges of the M4 heading in to London we the words "GOOD"

"MORNING"

"LEMMINGS"

But as to cryptic stuff in the last few month we have had a spate of spray art images appearing locally and I notice in Waitrose in Southsea consisting of what appears to be the word Vamp albeit very stylised in differing incarnations. And particulary strange was the image of Jack Nickelson a la the shining on the side of the womens institute. It is still there and it's been about 4 months since it appeared.

Not weird, but funny.

I heard this on the radio recently - someone saw some graffiti:

Jesus is coming

and someone had added below it:

(Look busy)

Many years ago, you couldn't go anywhere in Ashford without seeing "RedEggs" on every flat surface imaginable.
