Banned or not?
Home Secretary Theresa May has officially banned a planned march by the EDL tomorrow. However, they are still allowed to congregate and conduct a 'static' demonstration in a rural market town. What's the chances it will be peaceful?

So you don't possibly think that the black youths had been up to no good and had escaped onto the bus so as to gain some form of protection from the angry residents?
Why else would the police be with them?"
I have absolutely no idea why the police were on that bus and I doubt you know either. Why was a brick lobbed at the upper deck? Perhaps it was to draw the occupants' attention so that they could open the windows to listen to the intellectual debate that was taking pcace by the roadside...hmmm that must be it.
