Weather in Llandudno

Can anybody tell me what the weather is like in Llandudno? I live in Derbyshire and we are booked into a hotel in Llandudno for Christmas. We're travelling by train and am wondering if we will get. Also does anyone know if there are taxis available at the railway station as I understand the hotel is an 11 minute walk away? Thanks.

Click on the Link below and enter details and it will tell you whether trains are running or not. You may have to get off Train at Llandudno Junction and take Taxi from there, it's not too far away but the main thing is getting there.

No advantage in getting off at Llandudno Junction but if Trains can get that far you are nearly there ! All the better if you can get to Llandudno itself.

Ah, Llandudno brings wonderful memories to me as we spent our honeymoon there 44yrs ago in the Grand Hotel near the pier. Also used to do coach tours from Bournemouth too there. Hope you train journey is succesful and all goes well.

OH felly, I was born and bred in North Wales, spent many happy times in Llandudno! if you have to leave the train at the junction, it won't be a problem, it isn't far into the town, hope you have a good journey and a lovely Christmas there!............

Llandudno brings back great childhood memories for me too - my grandparents lived in Bangor and we always went there when I went to stay and they would get me a huge stick of rock. I was also fascinated by the old fashioned slot machines on the pier. Hope you have a lovely Christmas there.

LLandudno Junction is on the main line between Crewe and Holyhead, whereas Llandudno itself is on a branch line with less frequent services.

I know it's yonks since I posted this question but have just been looking through all my questions and see that I didn't thank everybody for their help on this one. Just to let you know, we did get there on the train though it was awfully snowy. However on the day we travelled back most of the trains were on strike so we had a long miserable day getting home. Nevertheless the holiday itself was lovely and we liked Llandudno so much we have just been back to the same hotel for a summer holiday.
