I seem to be addicted to celery sticks, dipped in mayonnaise, eaten with bits of stilton at the moment. Can't get enough of it. But simple cheese on toast comes a close second!

I adore celery. Unfortunately I can no longer find it anywhere, apart from that bitter green stuff. Whatever happened to white celery, such a delicate taste.

Tescos suzi. Haven't tried it yet and I didn't order it. They replaced it for something else I did order but I can't remember what. Will let you know what it's like.

Ok, I had to try. Very nice and very spicy. I normally have to add extra chilli to most things but this doesn't need it. Worth trying Suezy. xx

Mike, I adore celery too and buy it in Tesco. They have the celery hearts (2 in a pack and at the mo there's a BOGOF, lovely white sticks, yum, sprinkled with salt crunch crunch.

Yeah, but at one time the whole bunch was white, not just the hearts, and they are quite expensive for what you get.

£1, Mike for two lovely celeries and one free, (thats 4 celeries) not bad in my eyes. and if you keep em in the salad drawer wrapped in foil they keep at least 2 weeks.
I think they sell the outsides to food factories for soups. Cream of celery soup, Mmmm!

Salad cream ruins the taste of the Stilton. Celery on it's own with salad cream, yes!
