Tyrolean rendering
Can anyone give me any tips on applying Tyrolean cement rendering please.
I believe it's "splattered" on using a gun.
Thanks in advance

Most people just scat with sand & cement, and paint it now. One thing I do remember though, is to mix some up to paint thickness , and paint it on first ........... then use the scat-gun to apply the texture. Otherwise you'll be there for days piling it on trying to cover the existing wall colour.

Hi, as the builder says usually it is just a sand and cement mix that is used. Well that's all I ever did anyway. A couple of things is not to put too much in the hopper as it can get heavy holding it for any length of time and if there is too much in it then it won't come out properly. Another thing is to keep the machine moving and not stay in one place as it will just run and make a mess if you do. Not a job I used to enjoy as my arms used to ache after doing it for a while.
