Another charity bag through the letterbox.

This is the fourth in ten days. Written on the plastic envelopes are dubious charities such as Help for Japan. In the small print it states that the items will be distributed in east european countries. Looks like a scam to me,apart from The British Heart Foundation bags. Does anyone else get these bags as regular?

I had one yesterday, the first one for ages - they make great free binliners.

I used to get 2 or 3 a week here and when they were for charities, I would collect them up and post them back to the charity or reuse the bag for other things. My hubby once said if we filled everybag that came through the letterbox we'd have nothing left to wear! Eventually I got so fed up with them coming I put a sticker on my letter box saying "No more charity bags, please" and it seems to have worked as I've only had one come through the letterbox since! I prefer to take things to the charity shop directly.
