What do regulars think of a message board on the site? Would make it easier for users to thank people or give feedback etc without having to trawl back through the pages to respond. Just a thought!!!

Im game. Any excuse for a pontificate.
There used to be message boards on here, but they weren't very popular. But I'd like to see them back!
What I'd like to see is a new category, entitled "Questions That Have Been Asked Every Day Since Time Began" and into which would automatically be redirected all queries about the Atkins(on) Diet, how many pounds are in a stone, what the music from the Levis running through walls ad is and all the other regulars.
Include the common law wife thing and the how long is an elephants/giraffes/duckbilled platypuss/cat/emu's penis. Why do people need to know?
I agree with other people's suggestions; it would also be useful if questions could be somehow flagged when there is a new reply on them; otherwise you have to open lots of questions (on matters that interest you) just to see if anybody has posted another reply.
I am fully in favour of revoking the privileges anyone who posts the Atkins(on) diet question or the how many pounds in a stone question?
Great idea, mistylady. I often like to comment on answers to my questions, and it would be a far better way of doing it.
What happens when the message board gets so big that it's hard to find messages?
I think it's an excellent idea, I've seen a few answers that would have made highly entertaining conversations.
Okay, this is looking like a message board to me now!
