If you are referring to me don't be so rude. We know that gangs have been around for centuries, in fact a lot longer, but that isn't the point. You can come up with old gangs of London, and other areas, but we are talking of the here and now, and the people who's homes, businesses were trashed don't care they come from Tottenham, Hampstead or anywhere, they want to see justice done, and the thieves caught and punished.
whilst i agree that much of the youth of britain seem to have adopted a faux black gangstar culture, and seem to revel in pretending to be thugs - and adopted a bizarre (and annoying) hybrid accent...many also dont...and i dont agree that the reason white people rioted was because of this faux black nonsense
