Manchester United shares

Hi all, I bought some man U shares about 14 years ago from the bank, I want to put them into someone elses name and havent got a clue how to go about it, the bank says its nothing to do with them although I bought them from there, I have tried googling and cant understand any of the jargon. Any help would be appreciated.

There was a complusary purchase of all United shares in 2005 by the Glazers. As such, you may not actually own those shares now, and you should probably have claimed for the selling price. I have no idea if it is too late to claim now, but you will not be able to transfer the shares to someone else.
