My mother-in-law is Turkish and holds a green passport. She applied for a visa in 2008 (which she got) and owing to the type of passport she posesses, she didn't have to pay an application fee. Now she has to apply again but this time has to pay for it. Nobody can give me a straight answer. Is she getting ripped off or has legislation once again shifted in the favour of lining the pockets of the bureaucrats!
